The 2020 workshop for Oxford Studies in Political Philosophy will be held in the UK at Nuffield College, Oxford, from Thursday 21st May to Saturday 23rd of May. Registration will open at 3pm on the Thursday and the workshop will close at 3.30pm on the Saturday.
Oxford’s hotels and bed and breakfasts are very busy at this time of year, so we recommend booking accommodation early. There are many hotels, bed and breakfasts, and Airbnb-style short lets within fifteen minutes’ walk of Nuffield College, which is on New Road on the western edge of the town centre (map here: https://www.nuffield.ox.ac.uk/the-college/contact-us/). City centre accommodation is expensive; rooms in the Jericho, Grandpont, and Osney areas of Oxford may be cheaper but remain within about 15–20 minutes’ walk of the college. Conference attendees may be able to save more money by finding accommodation in south or east Oxford (down the Abingdon, Iffley, or Cowley Roads). There are regular bus services from these areas, but they can get badly caught up in traffic; walking may take 45 minutes or more. Buses from north Oxford and Summertown are swifter.
